SSI J. Lazell
SSI Lazell has been an adult instructor with the unit for 6 years, having joined the unit’s adult staff upon reaching 18 (the age at which cadets must leave). He was promoted from PI to SI in 2007 after successfully passing his Adult Initial Training Course course. He was then promoted from SI to SSI on the 2009 Annual Camp. He has also passed the Adult Instructors Course, KGVI Course and a number of additional qualifications for cadet training such as for range management.
SSI Lazell was second in command for 2 years at the unit before taking over command in January 2012.
He was previously a cadet with 203 for 5 years during which he reached the level of Sergeant and was the units senior Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO). at 203.
